Yesterday Motorola and Lenovo announced the Moto G4 , Moto G4 Plus and Moto G4 Play . The Moto G4 and G4 Play will arrive later this summer , but Moto G4 Plus is readily available .

Moto G4 Plus is a overall a great deal , but if you value good value, you could find an even better deal out there. So here are five reasons not to buy a Moto G4 Plus .

1. Overpriced -

The Motorola Moto G4 Plus comes in two variants - 16GB / 2GB at 13,499/- and 32GB / 3GB at 14,999/- . The Smartphone is a bit overpriced as compared to ZUK Z1 which comes in 13,499/- and Redmi Note 3 which comes in 9,999 ( 16GB/2GB ) and 11,999 ( 32GB/3GB ) .

2. No water resistance -

The Motorola Moto G4 Plus has an advanced nano-coating technology that creates a water repellent barrier to help protect against moderate exposure to water such as accidental spills, splashes or light rain. It Not designed to be submersed in water, or exposed to pressurized water, or other liquids like the Moto G3 .

3. Too big -

5.2 is the most preferred size of a Smartphone . The Moto G4 Plus comes with a 5.5 inch FHD Display , that seems to be too big . Big Smartphone's have a great chances to slip from hand and  even get shattered after a drop . 

After-all many People prefer to use 5 inch and 5.2 inch Smartphones .

4. No Notification LED -

There is no way to find out if you�ve missed any incoming calls or message while you had to ignore your phone? Of course, you can enable Moto Display and get pop-up on your screen when you get any notification . But Still Notification LED Plays an important role in bringing your attention towards the Smartphone , if you gets any notification .

5. Heating issue -

According to a Gaming Review with Temp Check of Moto G4 Plus by Geekyranjit , The Temperature of the device goes to 45� in 15 minutes of Gaming .

Though Geekyranjit hadn't noticed any lags while playing Games , but the screen becomes too hot under 15 minutes of Gaming .

How to Unlock Bootloader of Moto G4 Plus ( 2016 )

Like other Motorola Smartphones you can Unlock Moto G 4th Gen Plus Bootloader ( AKA Moto G4 Plus + ) also . Unlocking Bootloader voids warrenty , but still people Unlock Bootloader for Development Purposes .

Note -

Keep a backup of your data before following the steps , as Unlocking will wipe all your data .

By following this below guide , you can easily unlock your bootloader of Moto G 4th Generation Plus .

How to Unlock Bootloader of Moto G4 Plus ( 2016 ) -

Step 1. Download Minimal ADB and fastboot from below .

Step 2. Download and Install Latest Motorola Drivers from below .

Step 3. Go to Moto G4 Plus Settings > Developer Settings and Select Allow OEM Unlock .

Step 4. Switch off your Motorola Moto G4 Plus and Boot to Fastboot mode by pressing Power + Volume down button at the same time .

Step 5. Now Open Minimal ADB and fastboot ( which you downloaded in step 2 ) on PC and open cmd from there .

Step 6. Connect your Motorola Moto G4 Plus to PC via USB cable .

Step 7. Type This on Cmd   fastboot oem get_unlock_data  .

You will get a String , just copy it and Paste it in a Notepad and remove empty spaces from it .

Step 8. Go to Motorola's website and Log in using your Google / Motorola Id and paste the Copied String on 6th Step .

Step 9. Now complete all the Steps at Motorola's Website and Request unlock key . 

Step 10. You will get an Unlock key at your mail id , just copy it .

Step 11. In Cmd ( which you opened following step 5 ) type -

fastboot devices 

It will check , your device is connected or not , after that type -

fastboot oem unlock "Key" 

Replace "Key" with the Unlock Key , you got on Step 10 .

Motorola Announced Moto G Play with 5-inch Display

Today , Motorola announced Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus in India . Both the devices comes with a 5.5 inch FHD Display and high end specifications .



The Moto G4 Plus will be available on sale from today , while Moto G4 will come next month . The Another surprise is that Lenovo has also announced Moto G Play .

The Moto G Play or Moto G4 Play comes with a 5-inch 720p Display with Snapdragon 410 processor and only 8GB and 16GB storage options. Both the variants has 2GB of RAM .

Moto G Play has 8MP Rear camera and 5MP Front camera . The device comes with a 2,800mAh battery . 



This will be a perfect choice for those who prefer 5-inch Smartphones .

The Moto G Play pricing will vary by region and the smaller handset will arrive in the summer and will be available globally !

Moto X 2016 to feature modular design with 6 magnetic attachments

As Lenovo said earlier that 2016 moto devices will be attractive and innovative and seems that they are really coming up with something even more innovative .



Back a while , hellomotohk leaked new moto devices images .
So According to VentureBeat , Motorola and Lenovo are working on two Moto X Devices i.e Vertex (pictured left) and Vector Thin (pictured right) .

Both the devices will be Motorola's first modular devices with swappable backplates .

The 16 holes that are at the back panel of the device are actually connection pins that allow modular backplates to be snapped onto either handset .

Motorola has at least six modules for these new Moto X , called �Amps,� . 2016 Moto X will come with a simple colored backplate that ships free with both handsets . 



The modules that will be available at launch includes -

• Stereo speakers
• Battery pack
• Ccamera grip with flash and optical zoom
• Pico projector
• Rugged cover with wide angle lens attachment

The devices could get launched on July 9 at Lenovo Tech World .

How to Install Stock Firmware on Moto G 4th Generation  -

Step 1. First Download The Drivers , Fastboot and Motorola Moto G 3rd generation firmware images from below .

Step 2. Install The drivers , In Fastboot folder extract the firmware image .



Step 3. Boot the Moto G 4th Generation to fastboot mode by Pressing Both Volume Buttons and the Power button at the same time .

Step 4. Connect your Moto G 4th Generation and your Desktop via USB cable .

Step 5. Open cmd in mfastboot folder ( By pressing shift key and Right mouse click ) ..

Motorola Moto X 1st generation has started getting Latest April 2016 Android Security patch . This update brings important security improvements to Moto X 1st Gen .

Motorola has already announced that Lollipop is the last Android Updated for Moto X 1st Gen , But The device will keep getting Android Security update till Motorola discontinues it .

Motorola has posted release notes for the Same Android Security Updated for Moto X 1st Gen .

Motorola has finally sent invites to Indian Media for the new Moto Launch event which will be going to held in New Delhi , India on 17th May 2016 .



Accordingly Motorola will be launching Moto G 4th Generation , Moto G 4th Generation Plus and Moto E 3rd Generation on 17th May . 

The Smartphones will be available on Flipkart and Amazon at Mid night , just like previous releases .

The 2016 Moto Smartphones are tipped to unveiled on June 9 , according to a hint by Lenovo CEO, Yang Yuanqing at the launch of ZUK Z2 Pro .



Lenovo CEO, Yang Yuanqing said that Motorola and Lenovo will be announcing new exciting Moto Devices on June 9 . 

As already leaked that the devices can be Moto G 4th Generation , Moto G 4th Generation Plus , Moto X3 and Moto E3 . The Moto G 4th Generation and Moto G4 Plus will come with 5.5 inch Display while Moto X3 will come with 5inch display .

Today a new image surfaced on web , shows probably Moto X 2016 with embedded fingerprint sensor , Home button and USB Type C .



The Home button seems quite small and seems that fingerprint sensor will be embedded to it ( Like Samsung Smartphones have ) .

According to info The devices will be coming with a 5.2 inch QHD display , Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow , Fingerprint sensor , Metal Body and USB Type C .

Moto X3 : 2016 Motorola Smartphone spotted on Zauba

Zauba Import database has finally confirmed that a new Motorola Smartphone named " Motorola Moto X3 " is imported in India . 

Earlier we spotted that two new Moto Smartphones XT1700 & XT1706 were spotted with 2GB RAM , 16GB ROM and 5-inch HD Display in GFXBench benchmarking website .
